Free weekly sessions to support local people who are experiencing or at risk of mental health difficulties to build skills and confidence. 

Are you looking for work, volunteering or training?  Feeling under pressure or worried about money?

This new group is here to help.

 

Weekly group-based sessions for people aged 18+ in the Harborough District who: 

​

  • Are looking for employment, learning or volunteering 

  • Are under GP care for low to moderate mental health needs, or at risk of poor mental health  â€‹â€‹

​​

You’ll get practical support with: 

​

  • Job search, CVs and interviews 

  • Budgeting and managing money 

  • Building confidence and planning for the future ​​

​​

Sessions alternate each week between: 

​

  • Work Club – Employment advice, job applications, interview support 

  • Skills Training – Budgeting, debt advice, wellbeing, and confidence-building 

​​

​​

We’ll also stay in touch with those who move into work, offering advice and in-work support to help you settle in and succeed.

Session Information

Sessions will be held on a weekly basis.

Starts: July 2025

Time: Wednesdays (exact time TBC) 

​

Venue TBC

Who it's for 

​You can join if you: 

​

  • Are 18 or over 

​​

  • Live in the Harborough District 

​​

  • Are experiencing or at risk of mental health difficulties 

​​

  • May be facing stressful life situations such as debt or unemployment 

​

What you'll gain
  • Increased confidence and wellbeing

​​

  • Practical job search and interview skills

​​

  • Better financial awareness and resilience

​​

  • Help to find and stay in work

​​

  • A supportive, friendly group environment â€‹

How to join

You can self-refer, or be referred by a GP, Jobcentre adviser, social prescriber, or other professional.

 

Please note these sessions are only available to residents within the Harborough District of Leicestershire.
